Operating from a 90,000m2 Production and Warehousing facility Bond Its Production Team are responsible for the manufacturing of over 910 product lines - that's a lot of product!!
Since our humble startings back in 2002 with one factory and a skeleton staff Production is booming. Under the watchful eye of Wayne Forrester, lean manufacturing processes are being implemented on a daily basis. Having been with Bond It for over 18 years, Wayne has gained valuable experience working in many departments from warehousing to logistics, and was recently promoted to Production Manager where he oversees in excess of 37 employees, from machine operators to drivers.
Wayne has 3 Supervisors working under him who are responsible for certain sectors of Manufacturing: Glenn Foster (Chemicals), Cassey Shields (Silicone), Craig Shields (Compounding) - and one team leader Stefan Shields (Powders). Our 3 strong maintenance team also conduct daily checks on all the moving parts in the factory, ensuring down times are minimised and production time is maximised.
Growth is key at Bond It and we are continually investing in plant and people - we are expanding our compounding plant and adding a 3rd mixer (50% growth) and have increased our 5 man team to 7 in a relatively short period. Larger silicone machines are being purchased to cope with increased demand which will give us the capacity to fill in excess of 45 million cartridges per annum and further investment plans are afoot to cope with the ever increasing demand for quality products.
Coupled with a wealth of experience on the shop floor from operatives who have been with the Company for many years, in particular Jackie Rich who has been part of the Team for 20 years, between them they cover the smooth running of the plant and production facility all to strict ISO criteria.
